Bruce, Chet, Greg and Josh competed in the Greenwich Island Beach Two Mile Swim this past weekend. The conditons were perfect compared to the condtions at the Swim Across the Sound the previous weekend. The Greenwich Time’s has a nice recap of the event.

Olympic Swimmers Embracing New Technology

In case you missed it, this was the big weekend. We had the Westport Point to Point swim on Saturday which most of the team attended, and received awards and the Wilton Summer Sizzler which a smaller group attended.

For all people competing in the Swim Across the Sound there will be a photo session tonight at 6:30 PM at Captain’s Cove Marina in Bridgeport, CT. They would like to get as many solo swimmers and relay teams there so they’ll have plenty of pictures for the paper and web site.

On Saturday July 10th Art, Andy, Bruce, Chet, Susan, Mike, and Kim all competed in the Greenwich Point One Mile Swim. Results from the swim haven’t been posted yet but the word is they all placed well, and Kim was the lucky one who got stung by a jellyfish.
