Liz made it to France in 11hrs, 11mins………it was the hardest fight, through high winds and rough sea all night and morning. At the turn, as she left the water for the beach, Liz had an asthma attack but that didn’t stop her. She turned and headed back into the water that beat her up so badly the night before. She finally had to call it quits after a grueling struggle to swim and breathe by taking just half breaths, for another 5 hours or so.

It was inspiring and painful to watch.
