The 2005 USMS Short Course Nationals were held May 19-22 at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 1,620 swimmers representing 174 teams were entered in the meet. There were 44 individual and 8 relay record breaking swims at the meet. Full results of all events are now available for this meet.

Connecticut Masters had a combined team score of 318.5 points placing 22^nd out of 146 teams. The men’s team placed 22^nd out of 124 with a total of 161.50 points earned. The women were 29^th out of 99 with a total 137 points earned.

With a total of 21 swimmers representing ConnMasters, 10 of them were from WSC. In attendance were Mike Laux, Bill Geoghegan, Josh Usdavin, Jake Gulick, Jared Walkenhorst, Cheryl Barany, Ausra McKenna, Cindy Hoffmann and Kim Russo. Andy Davis was on deck for team support. Sheila Stolarski unfortunaltely cancelled due to family illness. Sheila you were missed.
