We had a great turnout at the Madison Mile which was swum in the warm (66.8 degree) waters off Madison on Saturday. Liz won in her age group as did Mike, John,Josh, Andy, and Jeff also placed in the top 3 in their age groups. Andy’s son Gannon also won in the mini mile. Bruce and I ran out together, and had he been in my age group we would have gotten a first and a second. As it was, Westport swimmers seemed to dominate the awards in the Masters division. Don’t forget to sign up for the Point to Point on July 17^th and the Wilton Meet on July 18^th.

Also the Team is planning a car wash on July 11^th to support the Swim Across the Sound for St. Vincent’s Hospital Cancer Care. Also if you’d like to make a donation to the two Westport relay teams please leave a comment here.
